"Depending on what happens next" I may urgently require the services of a mechanical designer very experienced in the design of plastic products. I'm in the middle of an ongoing design iteration of a "housing" which has some crucial but fairly modest mechanical needs. The current design iteration process is unsatisfactory for various reasons and I need someone to take what I have already and rapidly complete it with as much iterative input from me as required. One alternative is to use a big name big dollar design house who undoubtedly has the capabilities required. Another is to ask if anyone here thinks that they may be up to the task OR can recommend a company who has done well for them in this area in the past. I'm NOT going to spell out on list what's required, but it's simple enough that I am sure that I could do an excellent job of doing it myself. The point is that it's not my area of formal expertise and too much is riding on this to let somebody without proven capability finish the job. If you can design a plastic housing that uses O-rings to provide a waterproof seal, have a good idea of the sort of stresses that will be placed on components of a product during assembly and subsequently, have good experience of design for injection moulding and other plastics manufacture, know your ABS from ASA and more ... AND can intelligently follow instructions ... OR Can recommend a company that can help. Please contact me. On or off list as suits you.
