Why should we lower our expectations? If I have to lower my expectations, I'd rather use old software that works, or free software. Speaking of which, the last time I used Eagle (several years ago) it was rather horrible. Has it gotten any better, or are there other schematic/PCB packages in the price range that have surpassed it?
