Ladies and Gentlemen, We still use a stable und reliable DOS application for printing delivery notes, invoices and stuff. Now our about 20 year old EPSON printer seems to go down and I'd like to switch over to a laser printer. Our sys-admin is on holidays for the next 2 weeks and I'm in some trouble now, especially because I never dealt much with printer drivers. So I simply connected a HP 2014 to our PC and tried to make a printout and it appears to works "somehow" but some attributes like "condensed" are not recognized. Does anybody know if there is something like a driver EPSON EX-800 to HP-2014? As I saw in the manual of the 2014, this printer understands PCL so it might be enough to have driver EPSON-EX800 to PCL. If anybody ever had a similar problem I would be very happy to hear about his solution.
