This and ghosts, and probably bigfoot etc, are good examples of how
the human brain is wired to find a pattern of something familiar in
noise.  If there's nothing there, then the brain apparently gets
desperate, and makes it up.

I'd bet that if they were to train the camera on this while driving
off a few degrees, it would become apparent that it's just another
rock.

When the first mars probes landed, I thought it would be funny if the
last frame received was of some creature with a tool in hand, like say
wire cutters.  :)
