Hellermann Sleeves - man that takes me back to my apprenticeship days in the 
late 60s. The company I worked for used them extensively on the looms in all 
the items they produced. IIRC heat shrink was available, but I suspect 
relatively expensive. We certainly used heat shrink on other products where 
necessary.

Nowadays of course, such loom tying would be done with cable ties.
