As a test you may want to pickup one of the $9.95 protoboards from Parallax and just swap out the 5v regulator with a 3.3v one. If that works fine then you may want to double check the board you are currently using. I've just built an SX48 module that is setup for 3.3v and will try programming it at 3.3v and see how it works. I had planned on using the SX-Key Ring so I do expect that it will work. I thought that I read that the new USB SX-Key may work just fine at 3.3v or 5v. Does anyone have the new one and if so how does it work?
