I recently bought a Pickit 2 clone off ebay.  Just received it yesterday and
not what I expected. I thought it would have a couple diff size sockets to
plug PIC's into for programming , instead it's has a USB port, and some kind
of other port that's used to program the chips. What do I need? Or how do I
actually program with it?

I'm really knew to PIC's and have my first batch. So far I've just been
learning the assembler language and playing with gpsim.

Any help is appreciate,
