For my 24/7 Sky-Weather-Astronomy Web Cam (link below) the software is from 
VisionGS and is the free version.  Supports multiple cameras and about any 
camera that shows up in Windows as a video device.  I'm using it for still 
image capture and upload since 2-way satellite internet connections have poor 
upload speed, but it can also do video in a number of ways and formats.  To see
