At one particular time I was looking, maybe a year ago, Digi-Key was out 
of stock and had longer lead times than Maxim.  But they do seem to keep 
them in stock in general.

Also, I've been using the DS18B20-PAR, the "parasite power only" 
version, which I think is harder to get elsewhere (not in stock at 
Digi-Key now), and I think it was a bit cheaper than the other 
varieties.  My records say $1.76 last time I ordered 1000 of them.
