I'm curious as to whether anyone has done this and has any > input on the subject. Personally I'm waiting for the new model. The current one has a 480pixel high screen. This is not enough to be comfortable with pretty much any OS config other then that included. Even distros like xubuntu (optimized for less powerful hardware) have issues with dialogs popping up that aren't resizable and have buttons that are off screen. Windows has the same problem. As a trial, you could try forcing your video card into 640x480 mode and see if it's a problem for you.
