Anyone using the ASUS EEE notebook for PIC work?

I have been thinking about a lightweight tool to take to work and home 
that can run MPLAB and an ICD2 for PIC work.

The EEE marketing droid speak on the ASUS website indicates that it can 
run XP.  I'm curious as to whether anyone has done this and has any 
input on the subject.
