Just read from LinuxToday that now there is an official Linux based
Thinkpad T61 (Novell SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 10) from Lenovo.
The starting price for this system will be $949, $20 less than the same
laptop with Vista Home Premium. Since SLED itself is not free, I think
this is rather reasonable.

The price for Thinkpad T61 here in Singapore is much higher than
that in US. The lowest cost is at S$2407 or about US$1600
with 3 year warranty.
