The HD's take about 30 to 45 SEC on a good hot coals. Stapels used to sell a paper shredder that would do CD's. I think the shredder would be best for CD's Also check a scrap yard. They can put them in a metal shredded or cut them in half with a a metal shear. If it is something You have to witness the destruction of then If you have a maint department. They might have a band saw. Just cut the HD's in half and quarters. then stack up the CD's & DVD's and saw them up. whack each part of the HD's with a big hammer. Throw each part of each HD or CD in a seperat bag. Then send the 4 different parts containers to seperat rubbish or recyling centers. for extra security.
