	I think if you use a 50:1000 ohm transformer and load the secondary 
with the 10.000 ohm of your amplifier, the low frequency response won't 
be affected.
	Have you experimented with one of those microfone transformers?
	Even a 600:10000 ohm will give you an idea of the performance.
