"Electric superchargers" are usually snake oil.
It appears that this one may not be.
At 50 amps at 14V to power it, one would hope not :-)
ie it has enough power going in to the "fan" to make the 
claims approximately believable.

User testimonials vary from believable to hyperbole but it 
seems that it gives around 1 psi boost which can give useful 
gains at the mid to top end. Some users provide apparently 
well measured dyno runs and drag strip results. 5 - 10 HP 
and 10ths of a second on 1/4 miles seem to be being 
achieved.
