In SX Microcontrollers, SX/B Compiler and SX-Key Tool, robotworkshop wrote: Hello Rick, Have you seen the December 2007 issue of SERVO? The project that made the cover uses an SX28 chip to act as a translator to make a SpeakJet emulate an old SC-01 chip. It provides a real world example on how the SX can be used. The response from people reading that article (at least that i've heard) has been excellent. There is a bit of fluff in all magazines but there are still quite a few excellent articles in SERVO and i've always had a subscription to it. At the moment SERVO and Nuts'N'Volts are the main two magazines that I recommend people read if they are interested in this kind of thing. SERVO is definitely geared more toward robotics but a lot of the principles can apply to any mobile device. I expect you'll see at least a few other projects appearing in SERVO which use the SX family of chips in some fashion... Can't speak for anyone else but myself but I would want to get both.
