My wife received the following message today from her 
company's Japanese Office.

Subject: Japan offices closure

Dear all,

Please note that Japan offices(Tokyo and Osaka) will be 
closed on Monday, 24th of December for a substitute holiday 
for the Emperor's Birthday.
We'll reopen on Tuesday, 25th of December.

Winter holidays:
>From December 31(Monday) to January 4(Friday)
We'll reopen on Monday, 7th of January.

I hope you'll have a wonderful time with your family in this 
holiday season.
