We only used one page before, although we prepared the code to automatically use more pages when needed (but obviously never tested thoroughly) The problem was that somehow it went wrong when we were polling if the EEPROM was ready writing, before sending next block. Now we simply gave up and substituted polling with a long delay instead - we are not in a hurry to write next block anyway. So: not enlegantly solved, but personal work time efficient...
