Fact: the developed countries need power. They are not going to give up 
or cut back on electrical power. They just want to have power  for  
TV's, games,  Air conditioning, lighting at night, charging the electric 
cars and the list goes on ..........

Instead of  debating about  global warming, fossil fuel power plants, 
nuclear power, wind generators killing birds and that list goes on.....

With all the brain power on the list (no insults intended) Whats the 
answer?

The first responce to the questions should be:
For yourself do you just pay your electric bill and not really worry OR 
What have you done to cut down on power usage.

Second whats the answer?

Myself  due to health problems I just pay the power bill but still wish 
I could cut that down.  15 years ago I had a wind generator, some solar 
panels and helped a friend that had a small hydro electric plant. The 
hydro electric plant produced enough power to power itself, two houses 
and still sell some electric power back to the electric company. 

The house  I now own is not suitable for solar or wind power.  If any 
wants further details I can explain.
