Naw, I'm just talking :) This is the piclist, not Linus' list, where I would be careful. I'm cautious and specific talking about PICs on this list. That being said, the NTFS driver built into the kernel can definitely write, although it may not be able to create files. And it is to a point where it does not damage the filesystem when it writes. But I have only used it to read. To write, use NTFS-3G or Captive-NTFS.
