hmmm...so, factoring in a car payment on a "newer" car, even if used, plus insurance....is it better to drive something that is paid off and gets lower mileage? I think so....thats why I still drive my 3/4ton 4x4 each day. I go thru around $250/mo in fuel. For about $5K, I can convert to dual fuel..natural gas, get the same mileage but pay around 75 cents per gallon (last I checked). Its the 5K to come up with, and how long till it really gets paid for.
