I am still on the analog side so I have not yet got any chances to work with Ethernet. On the other hand, I notice that EN28J60 is not suitable for the design here as it is only good for 10M. Most often Integrated Ethernet Microprocessors (like FreeScale ColdFire or ARM9/Xscale) are used in the Ethernet/IP communication modules.
