You know....I think there are alot of us on this list...and other lists, and those we work with, that have those great ideas.  It really honestly comes down to marketing.
   
  If you can find the marketing network to exploit it....then those simple ideas, explode.  Just recently, I've extended my network into those that can and do market stuff....and a few of the ideas have them very excited.  Beauty of it is....they simply take a percentage of the sales, a CM builds and ships.....I goto the mailbox and collect the checks.  Thats the dream right?  Once your comfortable in life....ie.....bills are paid and you *could* retire and live just fine, those ideas seem to be easier to chase after.  Who cares if the next 5 are not what you thought....the 6th one might be the next big thing.  At that point....life...engineering...work (because you are the boss) becomes truly enjoyable.
   
  I'm just tired of making others rich off my expertise.  *sigh*
