True. But TI is quite right to come out a dual core MCU
for IEC61508 SIL3 application.

Cortex R4 is not really designed to compete with high-end
8-bit though. Maybe TI should come out a lower-end
dual core ARM7/Cortex M3 MCU for other SIL3 applications.
