I've started to get things like this custom manufactured from overseas suppliers... I burn through about 40-50 24VDC 2A supplies a month and was having similar issues until I found an overseas source. Last batch I got 300 with the connector/polarization I wanted for under $10 each delivered to my door, complete with power cables, and in a nice little box containing the supply and the cable all ready to go. Now I just have to deal with the 30 day lead time, which is definitely manageable. I would recommend digging through globalsources.com, and other similar sites which list these types of devices, and contacting the manufacturers. I can also provide you the name of the vendor I use if you'd like. In regards to the polarity issue, I'm not sure what the input circuit looks like, but perhaps having the manufacturer switch to a bridge rectifier in the input circuit would solve all your potential and actual problems. -forrest -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
