I've seen that mentioned in an AN. One suggested (sensible) fix is
to hold up Vdd with a reservoir cap long enough after sensing Vdd
falling to complete a write or save data. It helps to diode-isolate
the PIC's Vdd and cap from the rest of the circuit so it stays up
longer
