I recommended my brother (use to be a Windows programmer for Creative Labs) to use Ubuntu as his 2nd OS. So he installed Ubuntu 6.10 and liked it. Recently 7.10 came out and he tried to use it. Somehow the wireless did not work any more. So he searched the Internet and found out actually many people have the same problem. I still mainly use Ubutu 6.06. And I've found my 7.10 would have one probelm on the sound card occassionly (might be because of the non-working TV card which also exposed as a sound card). I made it work after the fresh install. But yesterday the sound was gone again. I need to do some investigation. I do not have this problem under 6.06 and 7.04. After deleting FC8 and Arch, now I have only Ubutu Linux (6.06, 7.04 and 7.10). Originally I want to delete 7.04 after running 7.10 for a while. Now I decide to keep it.
