The general idea I came away with was that I couldn't get my arms around _how_ the site was organized so I could go to what I wanted, or even know what all was there. Perhaps looking at it from the point of view of different types of user goals - forum user, file searcher, PIC person, AVR person, etc and offering quick structures for them to follow would help.
