This thead is about to derail, but just a brief comment. PiKdev is the work of Alain Gibaud. That source is the base of Piklab (the story could become long, read about it elsewhere, and keep it off of this list). Running Debian stable, my packages lack a few decimals in version, and subsequently, I can't run Piklab. Others will have to define their reasons. I don't mind a lot since PiKdev does all I need, and then some.
