As an adenddum to a previous discussion here (USB 3.0), this seems to be the first USB connected monitor: http://www.deskeng.com/articles/aaafkn.htm It's a 19" with a built in video card and embedded drivers. I don't know if that means that you don't need to load drivers from a disk, though that's something I wish every USB device had - onboard drivers, automatic install. The MSRP is $379, so I expect it'll actually be reasonably priced at around $300 soon enough.
