Well, this lunchtime I was reading the Electronics Weekly that arrived in my 
inbox this morning, and there was an announcement about a 'new feature' that 
HiTech are putting across the professional range of their compilers, which 
is currently available on their PICC18 and PSoC compilers. look for OCG, it 
is supposed to produce significantly smaller code - including across linked 
modules. Cost ? - don't know.
