I guess I dont use it that way....just for parts, if I have a number. I use the vendors websites if I am looking for a specific chip. R and C's have a pretty good par down search I think. Pricing, least for those things I purchase, has always been better than DigiKey, but there are exceptions of course. Shipping...lots of options from cheap USPS to overnight. And the search engine is good...as good or better than Digikey. Can you elaborate on the search engine part? I've always found Mouser's search engine almost useless when I didnt' have exact part numbers already. Maybe I'm doing it wrong. For example, how would I find the in-stock 5V rail-to-rail op-amp with the lowest quiescent current using Mouser's search engine?
