I've been using ACS102 from ST, and they were a real pain.
Maybe I was not using them correctly, but I had troubles in both 220V 
powered environment, and used with Optocouplers.
critical, unadapt to (small) inductive loads such as electrovalve 
(despite advertising) ...
I resolved to small standard triacs.
