In my experience, ALL toaster oven soldering (RoHS or not) stinks to high heaven and should only be done in spaces thoroughly vented to the outdoors. I can never tell whether its the flux or the board coatings (or ?) that smell so bad, but the odor seems foul enough to be potentially toxic. My toaster oven is only operated on a covered balcony will all nearby doors and windows closed. My neighbours think I'm either a terrible cook or suffer from barbecue envy.
