Last photo is Hurricane Dean.

Of particular interest to New Zealanders is the second photo which
very clearly shows the top of the South Island down to just below
Christchurch/Bank's Peninsular plus the bottom of the North Island.
Most spectacular. I'm sticking this one on pantry door photo gallery
labelled "Kaikoura teabreak" (for reasons that will be obvious when
viewed to all with a knowledge of NZ geography). .
