Dunno about the others, but I used a later version of the Toshiba (1GHz),
and I quite liked it.  In fact, I liked it until it was declared "those
machines were for executives only, and here's your Dell."  I still like it.

Anyway it had a DVD, touchpad thingy and XP (unlike the one you found).
Very nice to carry around, you didn't need one of those enormous laptop
bags.
