Though aparently that will (has?) recently changed. By Chinese law, the person's Chinese passport is no longer valid after becoming a Canadian citizen. So they are breaking the law when they enter China with their no-longer-valid Chinese passport. Apparently Canada government does not check whether this person has renounced his Chinese passport or not. Singapore and China apparently established a good mechanism to check this situation.
