But this is mild compared to the news story of the Merc owner whose car was
stolen complete with him in the far east. He was needed because of the
fingerprint based lock authorization on the car. After the party got bored with
lugging him around they chopped his relevant finger off and let him go, while
keeping the car. Come to think of it, a rabbit foot is supposed to bring good
luck and a rich man's finger, a Merc, a Jag or a Rolls. Almost makes sense in
this crazy world. And then they want to use RFID implants for that and similar
access control. Can you think of a body part you'd give up to get away from
muggers ? No ? Thought so.
