SherrillTree, one of the largest arborist suppliers, now has a whole section dedicated to recreational stuff on their website: http://www.wtsherrill.com/ It's mostly standard arborist gear although stuff is coming out now that's a lot lighter and cheaper than gear designed for professional abuse. I've got some of that stuff, although the techniques I personally perfer to use are mostly from the caving world. I highly recomend it to any engineering types. You gets to play with lots of fancy gear, get some exercise, it's more relaxing than rock climbing, and unlike caving you might actually get a much needed tan! - -- http://petertodd.org -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.6 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFGzYYQ3bMhDbI9xWQRAo6cAKCui8kWeJ3ZbRiYBduVR0q//duKvACgk948 OlPEpZXSHl4dKqUDCdRt3GM= =3FZr -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
