Their attitude is that they do not wish you to copy to any other 
media, even if the material is not available for that media. eg if you 
have it on CD but wish to play it on an MP3 player but it is not 
available for sale in MP3 format then you cannot do it.

They are bereft of moral justification for much of what they wish (for 
all sensible values of the term "moral"). You don't even get a free 
IMHO thrown in on that one :-)
