The Agilent 54xxx we have around here is just as bad as the Tek TDS3034 I have. We also have a Lecroy 9310 (IIRC) which does the same. The latter two have noticeable stable trace then jump to display new trace, so the whole screen gets updated in one hit. In a lot of ways I prefer the Tek as it doesn't seem to wait for a full screen of data to be collected before updating the screen itself, unless the scan speed is extremely slow. -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
