Hi Ed: The kit you have uses the Dallas 1-Wire type sensors. Dallas is now part of Maxim, see: http://www.maxim-ic.com/products/1-wire/ You can add three more sensors (each with it's own bypass cap) at the end of a cable with at least 3 wires the way Kitsrus has done it. You might want to check the data sheet for the sensor to see what bypass cap it needs. You might want to study up on how the 1-Wire system works. The Kitsrus ran a seperate power wire which is not necessary but makes things simpler. Although I like the 16F88 for a number of reasons, see: http://www.prc68.com/I/PIC16F88.shtml I would now recomend the PICkit 2 for beginners which does not support the 16F88, but does support lower pin count PICs, plenty of which would be suitable for this project. The kit uses the 12C509. -- Have Fun, Brooke Clarke http://www.PRC68.com http://www.precisionclock.com -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
