I regularly travel with dev boards (always in carry-on - company
policy) , mostly SFO-japan, and I haven't really had any issues.
Though one time going through security in Frankfurt during a routine
pat-down (and I didn't even have any electronics with me there), I'm
100% certain that the guy doing it squeezed my butt cheek. I chose to
take it as a compliment.
