I don't know if Garrett do international shipping or not. Just offhand, I would expect you could source parts in Asia much less expensively than from the US. But that's just based on impressions of things people have stated on the list. The reality is probably different. It's always seems a surprise to me that products that are manufactured in Asia and shipped to the US are often cheaper to buy than to try to source them in Asia. A Japanese company we worked with in the 90's would buy Toshiba laptops from us because they were less expensive than to get them locally in Japan. It turned out that there is a *very* extensive "middle-man" network there, each taking a percentage. They told us it was considered 'not honorable' to try to circumvent it locally.
