I was somewhat surprised to find out that relatively low cost BGA zif sockets
exist. That is BGA to through hole (high density). The price is not so bad, I
understand that $32 for a 32 pin BGA is possible. Compare this to the price of
other SMD zif sockets. I share the manufacturer here:

My information source is indirect (aka hearsay) about the price. Please share
information on this theme if possible. That is, information in relatively low
cost zif test sockets avaiable in ones or small qty.
