What country are you flying from? I'd guess for some countries you may have a big problem, others they won't mention it. I know for a fact that the US can sometimes be very touchy with these sorts of things, one because it's weird to see a bare PCB, and second because it's "for work", and that can be a big no-no. Personally, I'd take a small bag and check that stuff, why risk the hassle?
