Does NOT have to have or autoroute. I use diptrace. The unlimited layer option is $695 which may be out of your price range, however. I went through every PCB layout program I could find to find one which met the following: 1) Reasonable cost. I had a budget of around $1000, somewhat flexible. 2) Paste Layers 3) Easy library editor (since there isn't such a thing as a complete library). 4) UI free of quirks that I couldn't stand. I.E. It works like I do. 5) Gerber output During the evals I had well over a dozen EDA programs on my machine at one time or another. I finally decided on Diptrace, although Easy-PC would have probably been my second choice, even though it was a little out of my budget for the size I was working with. -forrest -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
