Divide memory into segments, deny access across segments, be done. Main question is of course how you set the segments up and that you can't truly trust the program setting them up to do its work correctly. Also, it's got a number of problems leading to current OSes using paging instead. It's just some crackpot old fool who thinks he's invented the bees knees, whilst he's just taken the old and called it new.
