I actually wondered a couple of weeks ago whether the **** that some people are turning me into might get more "rewards" out of life. They seem to be doing OK as ***s themselves. But I can't fight my nature and won't become that person. What I can do is be more selective about who gets help and try, by omission (ie withhold help etc), to make some people's lives a little interesting/uncomfortable/difficult. A recent experience has taught me, finally, that, given the chance, anyone can and will flip on you. I'm not half as trusting as I was last month.
