Unimpressed by the cheapest USB MP3 players (brittle controls, 
unresponsive UI and noisy playback), and too mean to buy a well 
developed model, I'd like to see if I can find the recipe for building 
my own (hopefully pocket-sized) player, based on some sort of PIC.

Any suggestions please?
